Who would win a stand-up fight between GSP and Condit?

GSP has good stand up but because he wrestles people will continue to think less of his chin and his ability to strike. Condit is not good technically though he is very powerful and dynamic.

 

I got a feeling that Condit will finish GSP after being outclassed at around the 4th round

 

IMO Condit knock him out. GSP has very good standup skills but the mentality has alot to do with it. Carlos Condit has alot of confidence in his entire striking game including his chin look at how he continuned to attack Jake Ellenberger despite nearly being KTFO a couple of times. I think Condit is a strong puncher and he would land something that rocks GSP and if its strickly standup hes going be able to finish.

 

Condit. Much more dynamic and powerful. GSP, as of late, appears a feather fist. Probably due to being non-committal. Obviously he ****ed Kos up. But should've done more :deal

 

Condit is the more dangerous striker. GSP hasn't sparked anyone with his hands since UFC 49 or something whereas Condit is coming off a string of KOs.

Condit because GSP drops into the fetal position when he gets hit.

 

I chose GSP. I think Condit can knock him out. However GSP would strike smart and not engage too much. He'd pot shot all night.

 

i dont see condit winning it. GSP by sleeping pill lay and pray.

 

Gsp's striking while good is not good enough to beat Condit, but Gsp's wrestling will probably effect condits commitment to his punches, giving Gsp a huge edge. Even still Gsp would be wise to take this one to the ground where condit will be less of a threat.

In a straight up striking match I would pick Condit, I would also pick Nick Diaz, Bj Penn, and Thiago Alves to win over Gsp.

gsp will throw jabs and laughably telegraphed overhand rights that ray charles could see coming. Conduit will be scared to throw anything for fear of being taken down, so GSP wins by a decent jab, superman punch, and HI IM GOING TO THROW A HUGE OVERHAND RIGHT ARE YOU READY? HERE IT COMES IM THROWING IT NOW I JUST THREW IT, ITS IN THE AIR, OMG ITS ARCING DOWN!!!! overhand rights.
