Who would win? Amir Khan vs Kell Brook@147lbs

Brook is feather fisted, he won't be stopping Khan.

 

Khan wins. Fought for longer at a higher level. Technically better, far quicker. Khan would love this fight, as he knows he would earn some nice money.

 

I think Khan's speed would trouble Brook for a few rounds until Kell started to hone his timing. If Brook can be relaxed and patient (which so far it seems he can) then I think he'd start to make ground on Khan, but it would depend on how much damage Amir can do early on.
Khan has one big elite skill, fast hands, he has the big fight experience, and he's been in trouble before and dealt with it. But his defense is amateur style, all in the feet, with no head movement, no slipping, and he lacks accuracy and shot picking in his offense in my book. He can unload a 5 or 6 shot combination, and hit the gloves every time. Doesn't have the patience to pick a guy apart.

Brook still has a few question marks. Can he cope being an underdog, against somebody who has a good workrate and will move around a lot. Can he close the range against somebody who is determined to keep him on the outside.

It's a fascinating fight, and I lean a little towards Brook, but I just don't feel he's been in enough "big moments" to see what he's made of, so I can't state it with any confidence.

People r going waaaaaay over the top. He beat Matthew hatton, who has never beaten a world class fighter & is euro level at best. People r acting as if hes just handed out a beating to someone like Ortiz or Berto.

 

I dont think Brook could beat Khan yet, Khans workrate and the speed he has are too much for him right now, and to be honest I dont think Brooks punches carry enough pop to potshot Khan effectively either, I just dont see a way for Brook to win yet, give him a few more fights let him mature then we'll see.

Yeah, theres no way in hell Khan is technically better, his technique is poor, he pretty much forgets all about technique and just throws as many straightish' shots as he can in one flurry other than when he uses his jab, or throws body shots which isnt that often, and dont get me started on how he lunges in an out off balance when throwing a combination that is just awful.

 

and it took him 5 rounds to knock out that total pub fighter in the US
Khan would destroy him, Brooks the biggest hype job in British boxing right now
