Brook is just better than him IMO. And I've always said that. But fair play to Khan for actually fighting at a far higher level for years now.

That's the thing, I have yet to see anything from Kell to suggest his footwork is good enough to negate Khan's quicker feet and put him under sustained pressure. Up until now, in his bigger fights, he hasn't faced many outside movers and it's meant that his accurate punching from range has been more than enough to overcome them.

It sounds quite basic but I really do think, from what we've seen so far, that Khan's speed, in both his hands & feet, can offset Brook's rhythm and I don't know how people can be so sure that it wouldn't be the decisive factor going on Brook's admittedly very good recent performances. The last 3 men he's faced have not been in truth anywhere near quick enough to worry him.

Brook should concentrate on his weight division, for now. I'm sure he's got another 'homecoming' in Sheffield coming up.

  5. Your right man, I dont really rate Khan very highly, but his workrate and speed are a handful for just about anybody, I dont see how Brook can handle him yet.

Brook doesn't need to pressure, it's not like there's only one way to trouble Khan.

Khan's feet are all over the shop, Kell will find opportunities for shots, no probs IMO.

I think that it would be better for Brook to stand off Khan and let Amir try and force the pace. If he got Khan to try and lead off, he'd have plenty of opportunitites to counter, especially over Khan's jab. It might be fast but he reaches with it too much and a good counter puncher will always get plenty of opportunities. But I imagine Khan would look to fight whilst moving constantly as he tends to do and that makes it harder for Brook to sit off and try and counter of Khan's pitter patter combos.

Either way, the attention Brook is now recieving makes the fight a logical one for Khan when he steps up to 147. And with the split opinions people clearly have on it, it could be a massive occasion on Sky

Brook has not been tested at world level yet.

Right now, i'd need to side with Khan by decision.

Kell should fight a genuine top 10 world class opponent before we discuss such fights.
