This fight would be for the unification of the WBC and IBF Welterweight Championship. Who would win and why? Keep in mind Clottey said no one hurts him in his boxing life and that if he doesn't get a 2nd crack against Margarito, he wants Berto for a unification match.

at least clottey is trying his best to get a another top opponent instead of waiting for his mandatory, i think he should go for berto whilst margarito gets his revenge of williams, then the 2 winners meet, there is actually quite a big chance all 4 belts are going to be owned by the same person

    At this moment..
    I'd take Clottey by KO/TKO

I feel we still have not seen enough of Berto's Durubility or lack there of...
He is without a doubt the bottom champion of the current WW's. IMO
(which is no disrespect to Andre, Ok let's say, he is the least tested...)

I agree, right now Clottey is physically and mentally tougher than Berto. But I think Berto has more upside to him, and another 4-6 fights he'll be the better figher. Dibella's going to be careful with Berto. Lou's been losing all his investments in the past year with Taylor, Powell. Should be interesting though. Berto's got Forbes, the winner of Bonsu-Hyw....(sp?), and soon Soto-Karass-(Tony's sparring partner who's another tough SOB). Soto-Karass would be a interesting test on Berto.

Remember Berto saying he was nervous in his last fight against a can? Imagine how nervous he'll be against a real opponent like Clottey.

Clottey would wreck Berto's fantastic young career.

Clottey by TKO, round 9. :yep

Hmmmmmmm it would be interesting. Berto has the better Offense by far but Clottey has the better chin.

I would be all for this as it would unify 2 belts and give the winner a good shot at fighting Margarito or Williams to almost unify the Division.

I feel more comfortable picking Clottey here than I did in the Judah fight.

Berto still looks a little green, he definitly has some skills and is a strong fighter. If Clottey were to take him deep into the round, I see Berto start to fall apart.

    Clottey UD

clottey by KO. Berto gets hit cleanly with left hooks all the time and clottey will land with that.
