Who was better between these two former light heavy champs? Conn did better v Louis than Hopkins would have, but boxing doesn`t always work like that, two brilliant boxers.

I think Hopkins had trouble with speed and movement. I like Conn here.

Clear-cut decision on points in favor of Hopkins. Too wide difference in class.

B Hop had trouble with speed. If he couldn't beat Jones Jr first fight and Calzaghe then how could he beat the Kid ? Kid on pts.

Conn doesn't allow BHop to mess about his head ,gets a decision over him and makes it look fairly easy along the way .

Hopkins will have his moments timing Conn, but stylistically Conn had the traits needed to win this fight. Speed, movement and activity. He has those in spades.

I see Conn taking a 8-4 type decision.

Well of course he will have his moments if he's timing himself.

Log off for tonight kid, try again tomorrow.

We know you pick Hopkins here, he's taller with more reach and is heavier so naturally it makes sense that Conn has no chance.

Hopkins improved vastly years after the Jones fight.
