It was supposed to happen as a unification a while back but you know what happened. But anyway who do you think wins the fight today?
Right now, I'd go with Williams to win a decision, but a Cintron win wouldn't be a shock, either. I'll probably have a better idea after seeing Cintron in the ring again and how he responds to a new trainer.
Williams isn't the kind of fighter to 'break' his opponent - I haven't seen enough of Cintron to know how well he deals with awkward boxers ala Williams, rather than pressure fighters/sluggers with iron chins like Margo. To me Cintron lacks the heart to get to the very top, though stylewise I don't think Steward was ideal for him.
I think it was last week. There was a short thread about it here. They said it was a mutual decision.
My chips are on Williams. His work rate would be too much for Cintron and he can take a better punch.
Williams for sure. He'd school Kermit for 12 rounds, on a lop sided decision. Kermit does have a punchers chance though. I haven't seen Williams chin be tested yet.
Williams wins by late stoppage or Wide UD. Williams also seems to have a very good chin so I don't think KO is that probable for Cintron.
i dont like cintron but you guys are making it sound as if he is china chin, the 2 times he got stopped were from pressure, not any one shot to the chin.
