The best Fury would be a top heavyweight in any era. Would he be THE top heavyweight? That's up for debate depending on the era. But he would be among the best.

None of those big guys were in prime Fury's league for athleticism or skill. Joe's concrete feet would create a field day for Tyson. Even an overthehill, partied out Fury kept it very close against an agile swivel machine like Usyk.

I respect your opinion, but No he is not...

TF is a Protected Money making side show, that's all he ever was and even He Knows it...

I like Fury the man, but Fury the fighter is 3rd rate.

and I stated that a good few years back too. I also stated he 'improved' a few years back, but he is No Where near Top Class or 1st Class Boxing ability, no where!

I toatally disagree but everyone here can discuss things on their own terms. That is what makes it a great forum.

Joe didn't have concrete feet. Not even close. Nice light economic footwork. Joe knocks him out

Joe’s footwork vs Max Baer was particularly great. Very nimble and perfectly on point.

Taking a leaf from the book of Usyk or coming to the strategy on his own or in tandem with Blackburn, Joe would do very well focusing on in Fury’s expansive gut to set up more easily landed head shots.

Fury gives Louis fits but eventually gets broken down overtime. Skilled smaller fighters with great handspeed seemed to trouble Tyson the most, and Louis at his peak had pretty underrated movement on top of that like against Baer and Carnera.

Maybe But most of them hit harder, were stronger, and mauled people on the inside as well or better than fury. He may have been faster and more skilled than them, but he was still hittable and didn’t have the power to keep Louis from pressuring him.
