    Calzaghe.

I think the sackswingers will be surprised at how one sided this fight is. Pavlik is a very good fighter, but so one dimensional it is untrue - and there is nothing Calzaghe likes facing more than punchers.

Calzaghe is beatable, but by a clever guy like Hopkins who is capable of dragging Joe from his comfort zone and crucially switching tactics to stay one step ahead. One aspect of Joe's game that is underrated is his ability to work a fighter out - once he does that and the opponent doesn't change (see kessler fight) he begins to toy with them and accumulates rounds.

I see a clear UD 117-111 ish, but wouldn't be surprised to see a late stoppage in Joe's favour as Pavlik gets desperate. The hype machine has to stop - Kelly simply isn't that good :deal

Calzaghe UD. The beeston brawler is right, Joe loves punchers. Coz when someone elite can bang Calzaghe knows he could get knocked out should he not be on top of his game. He'd be scared of Kelly's ability to KO him. When Calzaghe is scared he fights accordingly. When he's scared that he could be beat thats when he fights his best. And when Calzaghe is at his best no one from LHW down could beat him.

Joe ... I used to think that Pavlik would win by KO, but Calzaghe is on a different level as far as speed and agility.

Calzaghe would be a bad match up for Pavlik -- especially at this point in his career, he doesn't need to fight a guy like Calzaghe.

Calzaghe moves to well and his hand speed is still very good ... I don't know if Calzaghe can hurt Pavlik, but i'm sure that he could do enough to get the victory.

This fight has to happen very soon if it is going to. Joe is definitely starting to show his age. I think he needs to take this fight really. He should have far too much for Pavlik and win a very comfortable decision. If he can perform at the same level he did against Kessler, I don't think you can really argue against him. I understand why he is taking the Jones fight but I'm sure he could have done more to get the mega fights when he was in his prime.

Prime Calzaghe stops Pavlik in 7 or 8 rounds no doubt.

I think Calzaghe wins on UD now although it's starting to get to the point where if this ever came off Pavlik is starting to catch Joe at the right time.
