Zale busts him up winning about 10-5 or 8-4 but then Golden Boys cards tell us different.

That’s my prediction for Canelo vs. anybody that’s of the very good/great variety pretty much.

I think Zale is getting a bit overrated in this thread, he has limitations which are being ignored in this thread. Canelos got skills and is a big solid guy with tight defense, a good chin and good counter punching.

I see him landing more and taking a decision off Zale in a rough fight.

For the second part I do think he would have done better against Cerdan than the shop worn Zale did, Cerdan showed some interesting things against (an older) Zale with quick counter punching and a tight guard mixed with pressure. He had better footwork for getting into advantageous punching positions than Canelo has but was smaller and quicker which is why.

B-b-b-but, Canelo and DLH will steal a decision....so tired of this lame narrative. Only been used 3 x’s as an excuse so far though....you guys are slipping. I expect to hear whining every other post lol. Grow up

Canelo UD. Zale was a slow starter, and I think Alvarez takes advantage by scoring an early kd or two, and then boxes effectively when Zale tries to surge and wins an exiting, competitive decision.
