Ruiz punches harder, faster and has a better chin than Fury sooo... yep, AJ knocks him out but Fury ain't stupid to trade with Joshua.

Joshua won't be constantly leaping forward throwing a telegraphed one two, which is all that Wilder offered up in their fight. He'll be boxing behind the jab, feinting and picking his shots when he sees openings, all while maintaining his form and not flopping all over the place like a malcoordinated octopus. Fury would need to draw Joshua's fire in order to open him up, as Joshua is cagey and won't allow Fury to dictate the pace if he can help it.

Like I said above, the fight will be a tactical match with remarkably little action or excitement due to how cautious both men will be. I'd rather see Whyte vs Wilder, which would be a total slop fest of lunging power punches and two goons falling over their own feet, but will at least be exciting while it lasts.

It would be smarter for Fury to try and fight on the outside. Fury has much better movement than AJ. AJ has power in both hands and he can throw pretty good shots on the inside.Could Fury beat AJ on the inside? Absolutley, but it's giving AJ a better chance than just beating him at range.

    - Joshua is a crisper, more compact puncher, less prone to losing his form or leaving himself badly exposed or squared up.
    - He's a more devastating combination puncher and a better finisher.
    - He has a better, more impactful left hook and uppercut, which will make him dangerous up close and at mid range.

He's not as skilled or versatile as Fury, but his weak points aren't as weak as all that, and the Ruiz defeat taught him to apply more nuance to his game. His jab's improved massively in the past year, and he's way more adept at picking his shots than before. He'll be competitive with Fury, don't doubt that.

Fury can beat Joshua on the inside if he mauls and wrestles with him, but Joshua isn't as weak or capitulative as Wilder, and I doubt Fury would want to expend that energy when his chances are so much better on the outside. He might want to make a point though. That'd play into Joshua's hands.

Fury is faster and has a longer jab, he`s landed more jabs in his career and that`s the most important punch from the outside.

Joshua wouldn't even get beaten up like that against fury. Deontay did because he is terrible.
I dont see what you are basing this mythical bad chin of Joshua's on?
Ruiz clipped him in the spot just like fury clipped wilder. Neither man recovered.
Neither furry or Ruiz are monster punches.
AJS chin has held up just fine in his career.

No Fury`s jab comes from one position his offense is very predictable, his feints worked well for him v Wilder though and would work well v AJ too.

All Fury needs to do is to consistently throw in combinations and Joshua will fold eventually.

I think Furys superior fitness will be telling in this fight. If Fury is allowed to dictate and set a high pace AJ is in serious trouble by early to mid rounds. Obviously if AJ can catch Fury hard early then this may be a moot point but easier said than done.

If they fight in a phone booth then Joshua would win that fight, Joshua has the faster hand and combos up close and would land the cleaner punches because his shorter arms wouldn’t take as long to get there, as for wilder, he don’t have the first clue how to fight on the inside, he has no power on the inside, he needs the left to set up the right from range, blinds them with the left the In comes the right, but fury didn’t let him do that, he was cautious from the outside, and he’d do certain things to get inside without getting hit flush with the right such as lean towards wilders left and then he’d stay inside, but I don’t think he’d be stupid enough to trade with Joshua, I think the fury from the Wlad fight wins on points and the fury from the wilder fight would win by late stoppage or on points as long as he does everything that he did in the wilder fight except take it to the inside, stiff jab, occasionally right hand but keep it at range at all costs

AJ does not have faster hands than Fury.
