Who would win if Cotto and Canelo fought this year?

    I think Canelo is too big and strong for Cotto. Skills and speed I think he's probably on par too. He'd win a competitive decision imo

    Cotto doesn't move laterally. He moves in straight lines..This is really a battle of promotional hype jobs. Cotto has at least proven himself to be solidly B level. Alvarez hasn't been in with a live body yet. Cotto by TKO probably.

    The size, strength, youth and durability of Alvarez would be huge hurdles for Cotto to overcome. And despite his inexperience, he's still well schooled and patient.

    Great fight. I think it'll take place in summer 2013.

    Alvarez power and strength will be too much,especially late in the fight and i see canelo by 10th round tko.
