Don't know to be honest, Dirrell hasn't proven he's at the level of those guys, he hasn't fought much above domestic level yet. But that doesn't mean to say he can't raise his game to beat the world class fighters.
Dirrell would beat both. Taylor cant fight southpaws. Cory Spinks damn near beat him for Christ sake.
What you read: Dirrell would win. he's too fast, too strong too amberdextrous. No contest he's superhuman and will KO everyone you'll see - Dirrell is destined for complete greatness! Translation: I'm American; I need a new boxer from my country to nuthug and Dirrell will do. The old well proven adage of 'who has he fought?' is thus negated from this argument. Dirrell is god incarnate although if he were European he'd be a Eurobum.
I will be honest, you are a Froch Nut swinger and you are hoping Froch can beat Dirrell but it's not going to happen. Dirrell is coming to spoil the party...
I dont think people are trying to pin their dreams into him but he has the talent to go places so people are just happy to see somebody with so much natural ability getting a chance to showcase it against the best in his division. You cant hate on him yet because he hasn't even had his 1st fight in this tournament yet and when he blasts out Froch I can tell you now that 50% of the Froch Nut swingers on this site will revert back to saying Froch was not ready for someone like Dirrell, and everybody will start riding Dirrell's sacks even when they were the same ones waiting for his downfall
ur deluded give reasons y an how dirrel wud beat pascal or taylor wen on the form he was da night e fought froch?
I hear what you're saying Solid chin but ESB has a looooooooooooong history of bandwagon jumpers and contradictory statements. Example 1: Samuel Peter I remember when Sam Peter was going to blow away the HW division and Wlad was 'lucky' to win etc etc then Vitali comes and blows Peter away and all of a sudden he's a washout. Even though he had a close fight (& some way loss) in his first fight with the bloated MW Toney ESB STILL talked like he was the next big thing - the hype was sickening. Then he loses and people disown him and won't even admit they were wrong - the same thing will happen with Dirrell mark my words. When I've been wrong on a fighter I have openly admitted it. I'm not a hypocrite I'll admit when I'm wrong. Example 2: Joe Calzaghe - and BOY what an example!!!! This is the contradictory one..... "RESUME!" That's all you heard when people talked about how good Joe was. "Resume!" "Who's he fault?" He's unproven!" etc etc yet where are these cries when people talk about Dirrell being this all conquering amazingly talented machine huh? All of a sudden a resume isn't important. Froch's beaten Taylor and Pascal who in turn embarassed Diacanu. Dirrell doesn't even have a named opponent!! Notice how all of a sudden a resume is no longer important? gets you thinking.....:huh
I see Dirrell lose against Pascal and Taylor. For the moment. But let's be honest, we don't know how Dirrell and Ward will do against elite. We're about to though.
He'd probably beat Pascal, who's a bit too static for a mover like Dirrell. Taylor doesn't move too well either, though if he's clinical with the jab and counters well he could take him out. But we don't know what he's got left, and we don't know if Dirrell will continue being indisciplined at the top level. I s'pose the reason why this tournament is a result is that all these questions are difficult and need answering!
WHEN DID I SAY THAT!?!?! :huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:huh Well? Huh? When? huh? When when? See. Typical ESB'er deflecting a statement with an untruth. :-( P.S. For the record he is an ATG - but I don't like him & as far as I recall I've definitely not stated it publically till now.
