Who would win in a 15 round fight, (Prime) Wladimir Klitschko or (Prime) Vitali Klitschko?

Wladimir was a world champion for over a decade, he led the division with dignity and humility and is clearly the more popular brother.

But Wlad only achieved that because Vitali retired. Had Vitali not suffered an injury Wlad would never have been the champion.

Just watch the two fighters, its clear Vitali is superior.

Compare their common opponents.

 

I mean, if you watched the Byrd fights you would think Wlad is better. If you watched the Sanders fights you would think Vitali. They didn't have many common opponents but no one can argue the fact that Wlad beat the better fighters. He was a better boxer and athlete than Vitali, vitali was tougher with a better chin. It depends what you value more who you think is superior.

But what I value as superior is being a better fighting machine

 

I would actually favor Vitali in a 12 or 15 round fight. Do to his granite chin and mental toughness. Probably by points or maybe late stoppage piling on the damage. But it would be like 60/40 in big brothers favor.

But… if there was ever a guy who has a chance to be the one to stop prime Vitali on cuts or even outright KO… it’s prime Wladimir. The guy had ATG power and was seriously fast with it.
