I feel AJ was trying to time Ruiz with jabs early on but Andy countered well, I don`t feel Dempsey could slip the jab well all the time despite his amazing Dempsey roll and AJ would have too much reach, do fans agree?

Dempsey could not slip a jab well? What planet are you living on?

Next thing you will be writing is arm reach dictates the ability to land a jab!!

Since we now know that Joshua is a sucker for a left hook, the initiative clearly lies with Dempsey!

Ruiz beat Joshua by punching with him, a huge risk but one that paid off. This is Dempsey's game. Joshua has proved himself a bit loose when hurt. Jack knows how to throw when he's tagged, it's absolutely proven. This is Dempsey's game all the way.

If Dempsey can get under Fulton's jab I think he can get under AJ's

    Dempsey stoppage within 4

He dipped his head too near Tunney`s lead hand and it cost him.

Dempsey has less reach than Ruiz, jabbing with AJ would be difficult and Dempsey never proved he could have taken AJ`s punches, Dempsey never faced a powerful combo like the combo AJ floored Ruiz with.

Ruiz has quicker hands than Dempsey had though and more reach.

I don't think Dempsey would jab with AJ and just as Dempsey never "proved" he could take AJ's punch, AJ never proved he could take Dempsey's.

Which is almost always true when people say "X never proved he could take Y's punches."

His legs cost him this loss, he couldn't fight on his toes anymore and he didn't cut off the ring well. That's normal with that kind of fighters when they got older.

He slipped tons of Tunney's jabs and he was past his prime at that point.
