Frazier worked on eratic bobbing head movement with Futch and his team so Ali found him hard to hit with the jab, Dempsey wouldn`t have avoided Ali`s jab very well and would have been outpointed like he was v Tunney.

Most people don't understand what IQ tests show. They aren't an indicator of how smart people are. They aren't bull**** though.

I wouldn't talk big about your results though...

Fighters look much different in training than in real fights. It's easy to be fast when you don't have to be worried about punching back.

Let him retake the test now, I imagine we could knock off a fair few numbers.
Lol, he may even make single digits!

Dempsey was a much better defensive fighter than Frazier. Joe had slow legs (he said so himself). Dempsey was quick to close the distance.

No, Joe`s head movement was brilliant, Ali threw far more punches in their first fight than any fighter threw against Dempsey, namely Tunney.

Again, have you seen all Dempsey fight? Because all your arguments are based on Tunney fights - both when Dempsey was clearly past his prime and worse than in other filmed fights.

I saw Dempsey`s head movement against Brenan and judging from that he didn`t look like he would have been able to dodge as many of Ali`s punches as Frazier did, Dempsey looked better head movement wise on a highlights vid though.

AJ threw more jabs against Ruiz than Brenan did here but I did note how long Dempsey`s arms were in relation to his 6'1 in height, pretty impressive.

Joshua has longer arms than Dempsey and is taller than 6’1 as well.

Unnecessary movement is a waste of energy. The goal for a bobbing and weaving fighter is to slip, duck, punches and move quickly inside. NOT to languish at mid to long distance. One of Frazier’s major defensive mistakes was to move his head but react slowly with his feet and in process take too many punches. Dempsey in contrast slipped blows and closed distance very quickly. Again Joe said HIMSELF his feet were slow.
