If you wanna know who I am look up. Thats me. Now keep sucking. A ***** can't get me mad unless you bite down too hard. You've been warned.

I having fun with her but I know we have parents on here and I don't mean to make light of child abuse or domestic violence but she did make quite the impression to get my attention. That's typical...she is a cutie though.

The truth is the building blocks of great boxing have been a constant for well over 100 years. What has not been a constant are trainers capable enough to teach the art of slipping, blocking, parrying, countering, feinting, short arm punching and doing ALL of this cohesively together. Years ago every major city had multiple major boxing gyms each populated by trainers who could teach these skills. Not so today. Boxing has DEvolved into covering up, staying at distance and arm punching. It’s a rarity to find any trainer in any gym who knows what they are doing. This is why no hwt has anywhere near the skills of Louis or Dempsey and we are talking 85-100 years since these men fought in their primes.

Anyway Jack Dempsey is so bad compared to modern fighters I would pick Holly Holm to stop him in the first round. If the moderators were decent they would just delete this whole Classic forum. Or they should ban anybody who is stupid enough not to be able to understand boxing has evolved in the last 90 years. They should ban anybody who keeps making threads about about no talent 180 pound or less tomato cans like Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, or Gene Tunney beating guys like Lennox Lewis, George Foreman, Mike Tyson , or even Anthony Joshua. Dempsey, Marciano, and Tunney are so bad compared to modern fighters that they wouldn't even be allowed to box today. They would be told to go be cheerleaders or play golf or something. But even that would be too much for them.

You don't know anything about Fulton's combinations and neither do I. We don't have any footage of Fulton as far as I know.

Little Dempsey would be lucky to make it past 3 rounds. I forget how much AJ got sh*t on after the Ruiz loss. Got people thinking a super middleweight from the 1920s would beat 6”6 240 lb world champion of today’s era.

Dempsey was a frontrunner who liked to blow his load early. AJ avoids those shenanigans and stops him in 3. Too much athlete, too much man, too much skill.

Before Ruiz I wouldn't have given Dempsey much chance. But it's clear that AJ's chin can be cracked, and if there's one guy that can crack chins, it's Dempsey. I still favour AJ since he is a much bigger, more composed boxer, but if Dempsey wins, and I think he has a decent chance, it would be by blowout.

I always find it hilarious, when wannabe historians claim we today have lost the fine arts of feinting, slipping, parrying, etc. Apparently there's no end to the silliness, some people will come up with!
