And you base this off how many Nelson fights that you've seen? Nelson's pressure and workrate combined with his boxing skills would be very difficult for Mayweather to keep away from all night. I'm not sure I'd favor him outright over Floyd, but if Floyd were to win comfortably, it'd be by fighting on the move all night long, in which case he'd probably win an 8-4 type decision or something like that. If he tried to fight his usual fight at 130 he'd be in trouble.
Whitaker fought off the backfoot far better than Mayweather. Mayweather allows himself to get caught up on the ropes far too often, whereas Pea rarely if ever fought off the ropes because he was impossible to cut off the ring against. That's the difference in this bout. Nelson was a much better pressure fighter than Corrales but for the most part if Mayweather moved and pot-shotted all night like he did in the Casrtillo rematch he should win a similar decision, though I think Nelson was overall better and more difficult to figure out, so I'd make it about 7-5 for Floyd come to think of it. Over 15 it's a more difficult call. What did your last question have to do with anything? You may have seen a bit of Nelson, but I'm pretty sure you're just favoring Floyd directly over him because Nelson's a pressure fighter and you favor Floyd over any of them because of his speed, even though it's not that simple. Floyd would have to fight the perfect fight. If he tried to fight him like he did Castillo in their first fight he's ****ed.
WHen i started this thread, i never thought it would happen. Now that it is on i was wondering if there's anyone that would give JMM a chance to up end Money.
Hahaha! I guess your right and thinking bout it. i don't think he can win even if Mayweather is a little rusty.
