Who would win: Marciano vs Frazier

Some great posts in here. I bet on Frazier to win because of his hand speed. He might cut up Rocky with those swift left hook counters. But with Rocky being so close in height, Joe might find himself bobbing and weaving into Rocky's punches. I ultimately think Joe and his left hook would prevail here, but some of you are making some great posts in favor of Rocky. This would be a better fight than I originally thought.

Question: Do you think the Frazier of 1971 was stronger than the bulky Joe Louis of 1951 who fought Rocky? I'm asking because Rocky pressed and mauled around Joe Louis with no problem. Is there a chance he could do the same to Frazier?

 

Rocky wouldn't be able to push Frazier back the way he did Louis. Louis tired badly due to the fact that he was way past his best and his legs were gone. Prime Frazier had a lower center of gravity with those stocky legs to boot and he wouldn't tire the way Louis did. If either man backs up it would be to take a momentary breather or shake of a good shot before boring in again. This fight could be fought on a postage stamp.
