Pick 'em fight for me. I just don't know. Same as a lot of people, which is why this fight really should happen, but is also why it might not.

To a certain extent, they are both each other's weakness, which is why it would probably go down as a classic. Floyd's probably the best pure counterpunching boxer of the last few decades and Pac's a forever-busy machine-gun-type of swarmer who uses odd angles well and doesn't seem to tire out; a force of nature.

My head says that Pac leaves himself too open for someone of Floyd's talents not to time him on the counter, but I can also see Pac simply being too fast for Floyd to be able to work that angle. I don't think Clottey was the best build-up for Pac, though; if anything it may have lulled him in to a false sense of security over what he can get away with. He won't be able to get away with half that stuff against Floyd.

If Mayweather had just a bit more power, I'd probably go with Floyd, because a heavy-hitter with Mayweather's timing and speed catching Pac on the counter would be a dangerous thing for Pac, but he doesn't, which evens up the odds a bit.

If you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose, I'd probably go with Mayweather, but it wouldn't be with any degree of confidence.

floyd's shoulder roll is not gonna work against pac. Pac will not lose a fight if its the middle of the ring i don't care how floyd rolls his shoulders but pac's speed and power will get to him, when pac is in his bouncing rhythm no one can stay in the middle of the ring with him. he would be busted up worst than what judah did to him for four rounds before mentally broke down. and floyd will not win this fight if he stays on the ropes, that would be a danger zone for him. Floyd's chance is to stay mobile moving all around the ring, but that isn't his style, his style is to lay on the ropes rolling off punches from limp-wristed boxers.

I would say Floyd by UD still, the Clottey fight didn't say much since Clottey just stands there like a human punching bag...I think the more "telling fight before the 'fight'" is the Mosley/Mayweather fight, that performance IMO will give a better idea on how Mayweather would do against Pac.
