    hmm says...
indeed bro.. but i did not say Wright and PBF are the same, I said I'm getting a notion that technical defense can be overcome with aggression.

If you even think of saying you found that fight least bit entertaining, I will hit you with a 2001 shane mosely Leaping Left Hook.

On their best nights Floyd is just too good for Williams. A pure boxer who see's everything in front of him is what's needed to beat PW. His style IMO plays directly into his hands...not only will he not be able to throw a 1000 punches, but his connect rate would be abysmal. Williams risks getting embarrassed in this match-up. (As you notice I ain't on the PW bandwagon).

Floyd wide UD or late tko

I see what your saying, im just saying while PBF defense is technical he also uses his legs and reflexes to make you miss completly, im talking about complete air. PBF defense alone taxes his opponents, ive never seen PBF because of his reflexes and rare ability to feel punches coming get landed on with regularity. Punch volume wont overwhelm his defense, Paul wont throw 1000 punches with Floyd's footwork and countering ability.

After watching Williams vs Wright I think its safe to Say Floyd wins easy, a UD, Paul in his biggest fights, Margarito and Winky has shown that the only thing he brings to the table is a high work rate and size, nothing more, examply Margarito limited Paul to just about the same % as Winky did.

and we all know Winky has a much better defense then Margarito, so that leads me to think Paul doesnt look to score specific shots, he just throws as many as he can and hopes to sink in 2 or 3 shots in doing so, he doesnt set nothing up, its just pure work rate.

A guy like Floyd will play off of that, basicly keep Paul Turning so Paul cant punch in volumes while Floyd sinks the shots that are more clean and more effective.

The advantage Floyd has is that he is shorter than Winky and Margarito which will cause Paul even more trouble becuase Paul will have to reach to find him, and if there is anything Floyd does well he does bend them knees to give you a different look, last week I would have said Paul wins this but since this fight, and Winky had a 21 month Lay off there should have been no way that Paul only landed 27% of his shots especially with that range, he doesnt know how to use his ****ing jab.

That's a pretty weak description of how Williams handled Winky. He actually did a great job of mixing up the pace and volume of his jab, beating up Winky in spots on the inside, and moving his head enough to confuse Winky from the outside.

I think he's evolving into a fighter who places his punches pretty damned effectively.

Of course, Floyd would test his precision immensely.

Paul throws shots to create openings he relys soley on work rate and size, Seriously, I mean Margarito limited Paul to the same ammount of shots as did Winky and I know this doesnt mean Margaritos defense is better than Winkys.

it just means that Paul throws alot knowing he is going to catch 2 or 3 shots that score, its an amateur style I am sorry but thats what it is.

tough fight for PBF. a win by PBF against williams would silence his critics. If williams wisely uses his height, it would be over for PBFs unblemished career. Williams has the speed, work rate, and power to finish PBF but his flaws can easily btaken advantage off by PBF.I'd gofor Williams

easy fight for Williams but he'll never get the chance to beat up the artful dodger. Williams totally controls this fight WITH EASE. lil floyd would be totally dictated to and would be the one kept at bay and be forced to take risks. He would hate this fight and would not be able to solve the reach, precision and busyness of Williams. floyd has no power to threaten Williams. Just a total domination. Lil guy would never put himself in such a brutally dangerous position, just as he steered far away from Cotto and Margarito who are much less dangerous and complicated than Williams is.

But you will never see this fight nor hear floyd talk about it cuz floyd knows he has zero chance.

I'm picking PBF close decision. PBF is NOT Winky. They have completely different styles. Winky stands right in front of you and fights flat footed and actually invites you to throw. In retrospect, he was tailor made for PW and his active style. PBF would move and turn PW and counter effectively and just outbox him IMO. But PW's size and activity would give him some rounds.

If Carlos Quintana decisively outboxes the Punisher, there is no way Floyd doesn't.

i think williams wins, but thats not saying hes a better fighter, in the end size would tell and he could throw 1000 punches ( even if not hitting mayweather flush ) and outwork mayweather with not getting hit back much because of reach
