“If that fight, for some reason, doesn’t happen(with Gervonta Davis), which I don’t see that happening, but if it doesn’t happen, then I wanna fight Teofimo Lopez at 140.”- Ryan Garcia

    Very interesting fight

Both have similar power and speed in those hands. Similar in size, but Garcia being taller. Teo is seen as more developed in his boxing career and skills. And both have been dropped.

In theory Teofimo should be the favorite. However, the Kambosos fight sorta regressed Teofimo in the since that many think he showed weaknesses that hadn’t really been seen before…not unlike Garcia.

better than grace find another rival... teofimo is a fairly complete boxer... great jaw speed and great punch... a boxer with many tools to **** the tank and garcia together... I don't understand why garcia tries to fight with teofimo better that he fight with linares and to close the year that he look for a haney or a pitbull cruz and for the year a gervonta

I would love to see this fight. Based off momentum have to give it to Ryan right now. I don't know if Teo can stand up to Ryan's power if he fights reckless. Ryan might not have the best defense, but he's defensively responsible. Teo was anything but defensively responsible against Kambosos.

Teofimo. Ryans jab is pretty **** and predictable, Teofimo has great reflexes and speed himself and has shown the ability to counter lazy jabs with power with either his right hand or lefthook

Ryan’s all talk, I seriously doubt he’ll fight Teo

Teo didn't look good last time around but i feel like he KO's Ryan. The speed difference isn't much and in a pure firefight I'll take Teofimo more often than not

Good fight if it happens. Who’s got the better chin? They’ve both been down and Garcia fell worse, if that means anything.
Teo might’ve had the “big head” mode against Kambosos fresh off the Loma win, so he probably wasn’t as focused as he should’ve been, whereas Garcia has that horrible habit of backing up with his chin in the air which probably won’t be fixed. Give me Teo by ko.

depends on who is training lopez. his team was crap last time, and it wouldnt take much for goosen to befuddle that lot. at their development level, which is still on the rough side, small tactical adjustments can make a big difference, cause neither one is polished enough to have an answer for every question. their physical attributes, although different, amount to roughly the same level of difficulty as a package. so it would come down to coaching and prep.

Teo matches up physically with him in every metric plus he has more power and probably a better chin. Teo clips him brutally.

Say what you want, I believe Ryan would fight Teo at 140. My money would be on Lopez as I don’t think Garcia is ready to fight a well prepared Lopez. This assumes Lopez has his head on straight. I hope Garcia moves to his natural weight of 135 and fights top guys. He has holes in his game but has some great weapons that will make things interesting. I just hope he sticks to a weight and doesn’t bounce around. In a year or two, I could see him beating a guy like Lopez but it’s too early at this stage.

Lopez at his best is too skilled but is mentally weak and his dad is a bad influence. Ryan needs to focus on beating LWs before moving up and he’s far from a finished product. I admire his willingness to fight anyone and believe he would agree to fight Teo. I just don’t see him winning at the stage.

Before Kambosos took Teo apart I'd have picked him to win. Now I'm far more uncertain as to a winner.

Davis won't do what he needs to make the fight happen.

    Lopez beats Garcia.
