Yes definitely, I think WALDO showed us all who the real 'ducker' is contrary to popular belief on ESB General Forum. The win over Baker still gets slightly understimated in my opinion, remember Baker had out-evented Danny williams in prizefighter impressively. Because of that win, I would favour Chisora here
I've heard people claim that Wlad's greatest EVT win was challenging a golfer named Corrie Sanders to fight for the world title and then spending 3 minutes rolling around the floor after taking a couple of his Happy Gilmores.
yeah wlad is a poor event fighter. He was brutally exposed by peter who used the same gameplan that he employed effectively vs VITLAY as well
I would slightly sway towards Solis on the back of his great EVT performance on Saturday but Chisora is a dark horse with alot of potential to gain big EVT wins on the world stage in the coming years, this is two solid EVT boxers here Gentleman.:deal
Wlad had several world-class EVT wins early in his career, since then its tailed off dramatically. He's not a steady performer like Tyson. However, to successfully EVT a high-profile guy twice, whilst still a relative novice unproven at world level & to do it with ease is an achievment. Chisora is only behind Harrison domestically imo.
Right, after Chisora's truly astonishing weekend of EVT record-breaking I thought I'd gauge the opinions of the fine users of the General forum on how this potential EVT would go down now. With Chisora arguably pushing himself to the top of the EVT p4p rankings by not only comprehensively beating VITLAY but also WALDO too and then being involved in an all time EVT classic confrontation with David Haye, how would you see him faring vs another true EVT veteran in Solis? Ok it has been quite a while since Solis' earth shattering EVT1 win over VITLAY but he's still a big enough name and this one could be an epic. So who ya got?
True. His EVT stock has plummetted recently without doubt. It would be a shame to see him go on too long and risk the ATG status he looked destined to achieve at one point (a.l.a Roy Jones Jr in boxing)
It's very sad to see how far Vatali has fallen has an EVT fighter. After claiming possibly the biggest EVT win in boxing history against Lewis, it's depressing witnessing this decline. Not only is he now failing to win EVT's he is actually having EVT wins claimed against him. Time to Hang up his EVT gloves.
I still consider Marquez to be the undisputed EVT champ at the moment with a great win against Floyd & 3 against Pac. After this weekend, in the HW division I'd have.... 1. Chisora 2. Solis 3. Haye Chisora-Solis would establish a lineal EVT champ in the HW division, which can only be good for the sport
