Yes, Duran at lightweight has the right combination of skills, including a canny defense, to get inside and stay inside. I think he'd maul Mayweather.

Whitaker. Really it comes down to who can make the other man come forward. Whitaker never commanded the A side like Floyd did. Floyd wielded It like a hammer. I’ll go for the guy that didn’t play weight games and IV fluid stuff. Floyd making Hatton move up, coming in way over weight for Márquez, fighting zombie Canelo. Not saying he wasn’t great but nobody did more in winning fights before the fighter entered the ring than Floyd in his negotiations.

Gans and Floyd too, though I think a lot of that one would come down to ruleset, as both really have style perfect for their rules. I think Floyd is maybe a touch more skilled, but Gans is harder hitting and much tougher. Armstrong is better P4P, but I think Floyd's size and reach could make it competitive, but I also think Armstrong has the stylistic edge.

If that group all fought each other, I don't think any of them could be undefeated.

Mayweather by clear decision. Both had great defense. Offensively Floyd was better. FM quicker and sharper. His punches straighter and shorter. Pea would sometimes get sloppy offensively. **** Uncle Roger found one of those moments and put him on his face.

Was welter even his prime weight, fighters like Leonard and Hearns would have had a significant reach advantage on Floyd who is only 5'8 he looked tiny v Conor who would have been stopped earlier by Ray or Hearns.

To be fair he was a fair way away from being on his face.

One thing for sure, if the fight is even, 6-6 in rounds, Floyd gets the decision.

Sweet Pea was blatantly robbed few times, Floyd was never robbed or judged against him (bar one judge in ODLH fight).

Whitaker outworks Floyd for UD. Whitaker was infinitely busier than Floyd and had just as good a defense if not better.

I tend to lean towards Whitaker, particularly at 135lbs. He was just the more balanced 'fighter', in my opinion, and generally had a greater offensive output, with the speed, reflexes and defensive prowess to go with it.

No way any of them remain undefeated with that level of competition, which is not a bad thing.

Sadly nowadays the emphasis on remaining unbeaten is misleading.

Yeah Floyd’s best weight be around lightweight.

Never again will Connor get mentioned in the same sentence as genuine legends like Hearns and Leonard.

    Pick em at 147 lbs.
