Nazario was coming off a win against Edwin Rosario.

How much of the Welterweight version of Hatton had you seen, prior to his match with Mayweather?

I very slightly favor Floyd at 135. Longer reach, more power. Super close.

Whitaker KO'd other fighters... what does being a pressure fighter make it more impressive? We can play this game... Whitaker Knocked down ODLH, Mayweather didn't. As mentioned before, Whitaker took people out with body shots... which fighters did Floyd stop with bodyshots and do they compare? A mentioned, Whitaker KOing Nazario in that fashion was really impressive. Floyd has nothing like that imo. This notion that Floyd had more pop than Whitaker is misplaced imo

I don’t see ANYONE in his weight range “beating the crap” out of him. It would be one hell of a fight though. Many have tried to trap and time Floyd two things Duran was amazing at but I just can’t picture it. Actually feel like Hearns would give him the biggest problem but Duran would be an interesting matchup.

Where was Rosario rated by the ring at that time? Higher than Hatton wa rated when he fought Floyd? What about Nazario? Was he rated higher in his respective era and weight class that Hatton?

Floyd`s jabs to the body were solid and could soften open ups just like his straioght ringhts to the body, that`s what did Zab in.

Fair enough, I`ve only saw parts of the Collazo fight, but at least he dropped him in the 1st round proving he could be rough and strong at welter.
