    Dundee is a scottish name that inexplicably became popular among italians within the fight business who wanted to change their names in the 1920s. Once Angelos brother became known as chris dundee in boxing circles angelo ended up taking the same name. Their real name was Merena.

    Pete herman, fireman jim flynn, johny wilson, young corbett III, sammy angott, vince dundee, midget wolgast, joe dundee, johnny dundee were all Italians.
