well SRR because i think he was a wizard and could of won at least a decision, SRR had superior skills compared to Hagler,,,,,,

Greb because he is the top rated MW in the history of boxing in many polls.

I think Griffith would do very well vs Hagler...especially the version that beat Tiger in '66. If Duran could do as well as he did, Griffith would do as well if not better.

I remember around 1989 or 1990 ring magazine's battle of the legends section featured Marvin Hagler vs Carlos Monzon. One of the people on the panel picked Monzon to win and In one of the following editions, a disgruntled fan wrote to the column and said that " hagler would have done Monzon what he did to Hearns." At the time I thought nothing of it given that I knew relatively little of Carlos Monzon. But looking back with a more seasoned view of things and after learning more about Monzon, I have to laugh at that memory. Carlos was never stopped in 100 professional fights and never again lost past the age of 22. In fact he went 13 years and 80 pro bouts without a loss and unlike some of Hagler's best opponents was a born natural middleweight. He had good defense, a sturdy chin, could throw crisp strait punches and could either outbox you over 15 rounds or score the stoppage if opportunity presented itself. I'm not sure who I'd put my money on between him and Marvin.. But after 30 years of watching the sport and seeing quite a bit of both Hagler and Carlos I can conclude with this one thing..... Marvin ain't pulling a Hearns on Monzon..

Same day weigh in, I'd favour Robinson.

24 hour weigh in, I'd favour Jones.

I don't think Nunn would have beaten him. He didn't look too great against post Duran Barkley.

    Jones has a shot.

Robinson was at his peak as a welterweight but was obviously good enough to win and lose the Middleweight title several times.

Monzon was a dominant champion in this day.

I think Robinson, Jones and Monzon would all have a shot in pickem fights. I don't think anyone would be highly favored over him.

I may have to rewatch Nunn-Barkley. It's been a while but I thought that Nunn completely outclassed him and beat Barkley way more decisively than Duran had. If Nunn uses his feet, I think that he'll give Hagler the same kind of problems that the older, smaller Sugar Ray Leonard gave him. Also helps that he hits harder than Leonard.
