Who would you favour over Jack Dempsey

I would add Vitali, Wlad, Bowe and maybe Liston.

 

The fact that I'm the only vote for Marciano saddens me

I'll go all of them. Not necessarily as I think they all win but Jack's reign was so poor that he leaves questions that none of the above didn't answer at some point during their reigns. And I am basing my answer on reigns only as I just don't know enough about his career prior to that so I am quite happy to be corrected.

A seven year spell as champion beating a range of middles and light heavies, nearly having a shock against a crude brawler in his only fight against a legitimate heavy. Not the stuff legends are normally made of.

By the way, lachbuster. You may not have meant it but you got it right. Perhaps you were allowing yourself to be guided by the force?

 

Dempsey is allllll wrongggg for Lewis. And I regard Dempsey's competition higher than most here
