Who would you have most / least liked to spar?

    So you get to spend a day working out with anyone from history, both good and bad!.

    LIKED;

    Herol Graham, just to see if he really was that hard to tag.
    Floyd, for the same reason as above.
    SRL i think would have been an honour.
    Ali, just to say i did!

    DISLIKED;

    Duran, because it would have been painful.
    Hearns, **** that, especially with the notorious gym wars.
    McClellan for the same reason.

    none of them. if they went for it, what would be the point of taking punishment. Fighting out of our league is about ego I guess.

    well I have to be realistic, and remember I am 53. maybe if I was younger I would have more spirit..

    Most liked to spar:
    Joe Gans. It would be the perfect balance of being able to observe a century old style up close in person with not dying.

    Least liked to spar:
    Mike Tyson/George Foreman/ Joe Louis/ Jack Dempsey
    I'm good on that fam.

    I'll second that Gans is a fascinating choice, and Pep would be another great one. And I'll add Corbett to the list, based partially off seeing him and Tunney work.

    Least Liked: Sonny Liston might well be near the top of my list here, especially considering Big George's comments on sparring him. Harry Greb would probably be one to avoid, too. Edwin Valero also had a reputation for destroying people on the regular in sparring.

    The guys that basically didn't know how to spar meaning they turned it into a fight would be a no because they are all hard hitters.
    Dempsey
    Frazier
    Tyson
    Liston
    Don't want to get killed.
    Guys I would like to spar with
    Jimmy Young
    George Benton
    Jersey Joe
    Tunney
    Charles
    Loughren..
    I'd like to test out John L. and Jack Johnson too

    Guys you can learn from. That you can talk to after the session is over. That's what interests me the most.

    The worst would be liston or tyson, i heard they used to be too rough on their sparring partners.

    I'd ather have paulie malinaggi or Maxie rosenbloom, someone who would defintly out class me, but wouldnt kick my ass.
