Johnson should have faced Langford and Dempsey should have faced Wills and Greb.

    Larry Holmes: 1978-1985
    Pinklon Thomas
    Gerrie Coetzee

    Mike Tyson: 1986-1989

    Rocky Marciano: 1952-1955

    Jack Dempsey: 1919-1926
    Sam Langford
    Gene Tunney: 1926-1928

    Ezzard Charles: 1949-1951

    Floyd Patterson: 1956-1962
Chuvalo , Cleroux and Doug Jones didn't deserve a shot at him at that time
all that much , not to mention Machen and he later outpointed Chuvalo and Machen anyway and stopped Archie Moore for the title , even Harold Johnson and Zora Folley didn't deserve to fight him too much , yet people accuse him as being a picky champion . I say , it was simply a shitty era.

    Jack Johnson: 1908-1915
    Sam Langford

    Joe Louis: 1937-1948

    Joe Frazier: 1967-1973
A rematch against Chuvalo as Frazier thumbed him
    A rubbermatch with Bonavena

    Lennox Lewis: 1997-2003
a real rematch with McCall when McCall is clear
    Chris Byrd
    rematch with Vitali
    Corrie Sanders
rubber match with Rahman to decide whose da daddy

    James Jeffries: 1899-1904

    George Foreman: 1994-1997
    haha
Holyfield rematch , Tyson , Bowe (at least Tyson and Bowe would have probably ended his career by then)
But most of all : Larry Holmes , and then either one of the done Tucker or James Smith

Larry Holmes: 1978-1985 = There was not really anyone around who could beat him IMO

Mike Tyson: 1986-1989 = Same goes for Mike

Rocky Marciano: 1952-1955 = Hmm... maybe Liston or Floyd

    Jack Dempsey: 1919-1926 = Wills & Greb

Gene Tunney: 1926-1928 = not really anyone. I would have wanted him to face pime Dempsey.

Ezzard Charles: 1949-1951 = Nobody in particular

Floyd Patterson: 1956-1962 = Liston, but the resuly would have been forgone.

    Jack Johnson: 1908-1915 = Langford

Joe Louis: 1937-1948 = Nobody really. Maybe Charles earlier than he did.

    Joe Frazier: 1967-1973

    Lennox Lewis: 1997-2003

    James Jeffries: 1899-1904

    George Foreman: 1994-1997

Mike Tyson: 1986-1989 - cleaned out what was there

    Rocky Marciano: 1952-1955 - ditto

Jack Dempsey: 1919-1926 - wills, old langford

    Gene Tunney: 1926-1928 - none

    Ezzard Charles: 1949-1951 - none

    Floyd Patterson: 1956-1962 - none

Jack Johnson: 1908-1915 - langford, jeannette, mcvey, young wills

    Joe Louis: 1937-1948 - none

    Joe Frazier: 1967-1973 - norton

Lennox Lewis: 1997-2003 - bowe (would have been better in lewis' first reign as champ)

James Jeffries: 1899-1904 - rematch with choynski

I guess we should blame Archie Moore for bumping off Valdes. I didnt think there was much more Marciano could have done in 52-55 time frame. He clean out his era.
