Who would you like Cotto to fight next? VOTE

Even with Cotto's questionable power at 154, if he pushed I reckon Cotto could have him out of there in 1 round.

firstly, I don't want in him with pacquiao or mayweather cos they need to fight each other and against either of them he could be beaten pretty badly. I always wanted him to get revenge over margarito but its true to say the cheat doesnt deserve another big fight. For me then id like angulo, williams or cintron. i reckon martinez will stay at 160lbs so cotto really has the chance to clean up this division. he is better than all the main 154lbs fighters and so i voted for williams as hes the most high profile

 

What about Cory Spinks? That would an easier fight for cotto than any other of these fights, as Spinks has been defeated by worse fighters in his prime, and lacks power.

However, because Spinks is absent from this list I chose Berto, as i see this fight as competitive but winnable for Miguel.

Cotto may not be in the jr middleweight div for long enough to take on the top fighters there.

Berto said he is willing to come up to 154 to fight Cotto..If Cotto is to fight Berto,IMO he should go down and do it for Berto's WBC welter title.

We all know Arums plans$$$.Looks like Arum wants to get Cotto and Pac in the ring again for Cotto's 154lb strap,if the Mayweather fight falls through again.

 

Ive said this on other threads and ill say it again , Cotto aint no Jr MW , he is not a main stay at the weight and every fight he fights there he runs the risk of being over powered .

However

If he is adamant he wants to stay there then Angulo would be my preferred option as a Cotto fan , i see this as a winnable fight for him i really do , i do not want to see Margarito 2 unless its @47 , and Cintron in Puerto Rico as a swan song kinda makes sense .

I beleive Cotto is best at WW , and id like to see him KO Berto !!!! , a fully fit Cotto IMHO takes Berto TFO !!!!! :deal

I voted Cintron b/c I think Cotto would finally run that chicken **** out of boxing. I know that has nothing to do with what's best for Cotto, but it would be best for boxing fans.

I wouldn't want to see Cotto go through another beating like the one that Pac gave him again.. I would however like to see him fight Margo again, minus the loaded gloves and hopfully beat the **** out of him.. Floyd is probably too much... Berto would be a good fight, but I don't want to see Andre's career get ruined either..

 

I'd like to see DLH come out of retirement and take Cotto's title.

 

take on chavez jr. it'll be an easy fight and they hype will be crazy, then take on angulo.. that should be two easy fight and with the mexico vs PR rivalry they will definitely sell and he'll make a ton of money.. after that who knows maybe margo or pwilliams.. a fight with cintron wont sell
