I would HATE to see him in the ring with Erik Morales, its wrong on every level. Or Pauli Malignaggi, because it proves nothing and I'm not convinced Pauli is world class anymore due to hand injuries.
My thoughts exactly, most fighters lose their belt in the first 3 defense's just like any other fighter he needs to probe he is championship class and then he can move on to the big fights. He should get FW to persuade Maidana to face the winner of Cambell/Bradley (good well matched scrap) and make Dimitri Salita his mandatory. I would have no prorblem with that and I am sure it would be a very easy sell to the Khan fans, I can see it now on Sky "Amir Khan taking the toughest test his first defense of his WBA title he will be defending against Dimitre Salita an undefeated in 30 fighter" bs of course but you catch the drift. After that if he is serious about facing the likes of Marquez, Mayweather etc. he should fight the winner of Cambell/Bradley-Maidana (I know a mouth full).
I'd actually like to see the Hatton fight to be honest. I know it isn't a popular idea amongst hardcore fight fans but it's just too big and sexy for me to say no to! I would also like to see Khan have a scrap with Murray. They genuinly dislike each other and their styles would clash really well.... it would also be a good learning fight for Khan as he isn't properly ready for maybe the likes of Urango or Witter yet I feel..... even though that contradicts what I'm asaying about Hatton too but hay! What can I say?
I would like to see khan face maidana...and if he were to win, i would become a fan.....I would also like to see him face ricky, hatton i think is getting understimated by roach and warren....but who knows...
