So Briggs at 47 should be fighting an Olympic medalist 20 years younger than him after 2 years off, but Tyson Fury needs a 22-fight comeback to get ready for Wilder?

    The proper answer is:

    Dycho!

    That would be ideal.

Yeah he thoroughly thrashes either and really puts his name on the map, especially if he went to Germany to do it. a lot of promoters will be running his way with offers.

He'd beat most of the top 10 already.

Best suggestion. Fighting taller fighters is most important for this era's champs. European champ before 10 fights, don't want to see him fight chisora, who is the ultimate tough gatekeeper test.

I just wish Manny was around to turn this guy into the next Klitschko. I think he has the tools but will need a great trainer to truly bring out the best in him.

Yeah that's an easy fight for him. His distance control is too good. He'd have his way with Chisora like pretty much every tall fighter in the past has. Even Helenius caused all sorts of problems for him while fighting with a badly broken hand, it was a robbery but closer than a lot make it out to be.

Yep. He would break chisoras face!! Delboy would get a bad beating because hrgocic hits alot harder than fury. It's also not going to prepare him much for this era's 6'5+ hw champs. I don't think we will see many delboys for the next few years, and I don't think hrgocic will struggle with smaller pressure fighters at all, from what I've seen anyway.

I think he should drop back down in class for his next couple of fights so he can really hone his skills under the tutelage of his new trainer Pedro Diaz. 2 or 3 fights against some of these guys would fit the bill: Duhaupas, Szpilka, Stiverne, Scott, Washington, Arreola, Eric Molina.

I'd like to see him against taller guys like Washington and Duhaupas and maybe Scott, those are better prep for the top of the division. The rest he cuts through like butter, well he probably cuts through all of these guys like butter but Washington and Duhaupas are certainly better learning fights.

Isnt dinu a good quality operator? Never seen him fight, seems like he's letting his career pass by.

Please don't mention that cursed name. One of the biggest what could have been's of the modern HW era. He had all of the skills and tools to be a big player, but for whatever reason doesn't give care about fighting.
