This was almost 10 years ago. a 6'5 HW with hand speed like that...... check that double uppercut. What a waste.

Brilliant. I just watched some of him handspeed galore and great on his feet as well. That is a waste totally. I just thread in an old thread he has a decent job that pays well so he probably isn't that hungry for boxing. Shame!

Yeah I agree with that. Even though he would be talking a step back down in class it would serve him well and help prepare him to get some experience fighting opponents that size. That said, he could stay at the class he's at now and fight say a Luis Ortiz instead.

Nope and if they did (and I'm confident their paths never crossed) I've never heard anything about it. Joyce beat Hrgovic in the WSB but then lost to Usyk in his next fight in it 3 weeks later.

Sergey Kuzmin, who is very overrated by Russian boxing fans. I think Hrgovic will school this big piece of lard easily and probably even stop him late.

People say Wilder didn’t step up fast enough, well this guy debuted 7 months before he did and averages about 1.8 fights per year. Like others have said you want to like him because of how much potential he has, but deep down you know it’s hopeless.

Managed a draw vs Mansour, so not really much of a step up.

No, but it's the best move for both camps. They could do it somewhere in Germany or in the EE, and the winner is fast tracked to a title shot, and the loser gets 3 years and 15 more fights to learn his craft and work is way up the old fashioned way. Which is how it should be anyway.

I wonder, have there been any reports or rumors about who might be Hrgovic's next opponent?

He could beat up Buffet Stiverne - that would be fun to watch.

    Or Prince Chuckles Martin.

He should take a step back and fight somebody like:

Stiverne. Szpillka. Washington. Duhaupas. Molina etc.
