Tricky one. If he fights Dawson he'll get the most credit. Taylor should be a non-starter unless he beats Pavlik in a rematch. RJJ only becomes a possibility if he really takes Trinadad apart early but still not a great fight in 2008. I would hate to see the Tarver/Johnson fights but could happen as there's been talk previously. Hopkins is old but great name for the CV, fairly easy fight also.
Dawson, Erdei, Bute or RJJ (I wouldn't blame him for not taking this fight though). These four would be my first choices, but I could accept if he fought one of the following guys: Hopkins, Woods or Froch. But he will probably retire after Kessler or look for an easy comeback fight where he can cash out.

No, I wouldn't be happy if he fought Froch and that was not what I said. I said, I could accept it (because Froch is British and the fight therefore would make Calzaghe a lot of money, and I admit it, I would like someone to shut Froch up).
Chad Dawson. Beating up Bute wouldn't mean much yet, if people considered Lacy green, a win over Bute would be completely discredited on account of inexperience, if they fought early next year. Erdei is a very good choice as well.
