Who would you like to see Vitaly add to his resume and why?

We all know that Vitaly has some very unique accomplishements, and his resume is not thin in terms of quantity of champs, former champs and contenders that he has beaten.

But it is still thin on the top end. There really is no capstone on the pyrimid.

What names would you like to see Vitaly add and why? Should he target the older fighters that he never did get in the ring with (he's 40 himself), or should he target the young guns who might go on to something after he beats them?

I reckon he should mix it up. 1 old, 1 new each year. Like you said, he is 40 so giving Holy and the senior citizens a final payday isn't really that bad. Throw in a few hungry young contenders and things would be great.
Really wish SNV would come back and fight him as well.

Leave the top contenders for Wlad.

I rather Vitali fight Haye, Fury and then Helenius in that order but since haye is scared to fight vitali then fury and helenius is great for me to add his resume of beating 2 young undefeated hw fighters that is the same size as vitali.

    Wlad Klitschko.

A win against his younger brother would stop the bs that makes people think that the younger brother is the better boxer.

Helenius, Dimitrenko, Haye, Povetvin, Rodriguez, Valuev, Fury and Chambers.

I think he can go another three years.

I concur Cachi, that was a pretty good post.

Vitali can only do so much with the fighters available. I would like to see him KO David Haye, which I'm positive he can do. Helenius is about the best newcomer I see right now. I wish they would fight soon, but people talk the experience factor, but I really think most fighters don't improve that much with experience, though some do, such as Wlad after his style-change.

Haye, SNV, Ustinov, Thompson, Holyfield, Chagaev, Pulev.

And of course Povetkin and/or Helenius if they'd be willing.

Liakovitch wouldn't be bad either. And I wouldn't mind Solis getting another shot.

Good list, but not much to choose from really. Golota could've been a good fight before his arm injury, but after the injury, Golota's jab was gone and he went from an A-level heavyweight to a B- or C+ heavy. The change really was that drastic.
