No, the fact he has limited skills and consistently ran from opportunities to establish a first class resume is why he's not a first class boxer, until and unless he proves otherwise.

Third class might be pushing it a bit, but you judge fighters by who they beat, not by who they lost clearly to.

Jarell Miller is not a bad idea at all. He would probably be some low hanging fruit...now that he is off the Lance Armstrong PEDs, he probably won't last two rounds. And yet, he would be a credible opponent.

    All American dust-up.

For Miller's part, he should jump at it. It is as close as he will get to a big payday.

They definitely could build up Lucas Browne as a killer after this weekend, would fool the casuals. We all know Wilder would destroy him.

    That’s exactly what he needs.

He could aim a bit higher than that. Even Kownacki is a fair bit better than Browne.

I picked Helenius as he's entertaining, deserving of a decent payday and I don't think there's any chance of seeing Wilder vs Ruix jr in his first fight post Fury. As others have said we're more likely to get someone further down the lists.

So by your logic, the guy at the top of the divisions best wins are an old Vlad and 3rd class Wilder. How do you judge him? Like you said, judge them by who they beat.

I fully expect him to take on someone like Kowanacki hammer him and then try and get Dillian Whyte in the ring.. Winnable but with some name and $$ value then a cash out fight VS Usyk or AJ.

Wilder's had a long career now taken a few beating against Ortiz and Fury and probably has a look on the patch of least resistance to a title shot. I reckon he could be gone for good after 3 fights.

Fat Andy or Charles Martin would be the best choices
