It's not an excuse. All I'm saying is that I think something controversial will happen and disappoint people. Maybe something like Floyd hitting Manny while Manny is talking to the ref and then god forbid actually knocking him out. Something similar to how Floyd knocked out Ortiz (who should have been protecting himself). Or maybe Manny will hit a ring post and end up losing that way. I just have the feeling that Floyd will win in a dirty/lucky way.

i had oscar down by 1-2 rounds in that fight. I can see why a judge would award his aggression, even though Floyd was landing way more clean punches. Look at Oscar vs trinidad.

80% soon for Pac by the looks of. I'm surprised. Looks like 90% of the world which are majority casual fans want PAC to win.

    Some reasons....

    1) I want the better boxer to win. (I believe that is Mayweather)
    2) I'm from the United States, and I want the American to win.
    3) As much as I admire Pacquiao, I feel his legion of fans have gone off the deep end and need to be brought back to reality. I would like to see Pac**** Nation die, and more realistic boxing discussion to resume. Pacquiao getting worked is actually good for boxing. It will highlight how "love" will override "reason."
    4) I've ****yzed this fight, broken it down, and want validation of my ****ysis. (I want to be proven right)
    5) Bumping the 132573875237523 posts trashing Mayweather by Pacquiao fans will be pure entertainment.
    6) Watching the different excuses that will be made for Pacquiao's loss by his "fans."

i can't find where to vote for Sharapova. anyway i voted for Pac since all the Floyd fan tears will end the drought in some states plus shut up TBE nonsense. don't care for pac fans either but i doubt anything could ever shut them up.

I voted Manny because if Floyd wins he will probably try to rematch Cotto for 160lb belt if he doesn't rematch Manny.

Then we will have 15-20 threads per day about how Floyd should fight GGG. Which I would agree with in that particular scenario should he eat Cotto, would still get rather tiring after the first couple days and exhausting to look at after the first 6 months of it.

If , as many members have suggested may happen, Mayweather wins in a controversial fashion it will surely cement my claim that the NSAC mainly Vegas are corrupt & really have been favoring Floyd all along.
Surely they cannot really believe fans are that naïve. That people will not see the corruption?? Boxing is fast becoming a second WWE where the result of a fight is decided before the opening bell rings. It saddens me to see the greatest sport on earth be made into nothing more than a carnival

I don't really care who wins, as long as a it's a good fight.

I'm glad this thread was made. Now I know how to adjust threads in the future that involve Mayweather and the skew it'll have with bias

Well people are against him winning so hes hated on quite hard. And from this forum as said previously, it surprises me that some pick the "nice guy" to beat the "bad guy" when I thought majority of people would have been picking the better boxer or hoping for the better to win given the skill factor. Then again we haven't seen the fight yet so for all we know Manny might pick him apart.

    Manny for several reasons :

    He is the underdog

He will be the one forcing the fight ( if everyone fought like manny you have a sport, if everyone fought like Floyd there would be no sport )

Manny has more flaws in his game but has still overcome some top quality opponents and been in some classic fights

Floyd claims the title TBE but as no.1 fighter in the sport he has not always sought out the toughest challenges, and despite being undefeated most of his fights are unmemorable
