Who would you pick if Bellew and Makabu rematched?

Was Makabu overrated, has Bellew improved, or was this a simple case of a fighter getting caught cold and lacking the awareness to clinch or take a knee?

Who did you pick for this fight and would that change if they fought again?

Personally I was tentatively backing Bellew on points, possibly controversially, and would do the same again.

Bellew had more experience than Makabu. I don't even know how Makabu got a title to be honest. Makabu was short and on the end of Bellews punches. Bad idea.

I'd pick Bellew in a hartbeat.

I was thoroughly impressed by Bellew, while in the 1st the scenario I expected seemed to unfold in a nutshell kinda way. Bellew the fast start or Makabu the slow one depending how you look at it, but then when Makabu starts to land Bellew wouldn't be able to take it. That happened, but then Bellew adapted and brutally disposed of him.

Never rated Bellew as a top Cruiserweight before, but now I do.
I'm good at misjudging Brits lately.

Calm down Robney. You're overreacting....it was a fluke.:deal And Makabu has a really ****ty chin evidently.

Are you going to pick Enzo Mac over Dmytro?

I think the early KO was a fluks yes, but a rematch would probably end up a decision for Belly now.
And no, I wouldn't pick Enzo over Kutcher

Bellew could easily lose the rematch if it goes long, Makabu is dangerous from start to finish, and him winning by KO shouldn't be taken off the table for anybody, had that 1st round KD been 50 or 40 seconds earlier, the fight would have probably gone the way we all expected it to..

And haven't you learned your lesson yet. This is the year of the Brit upset KO win. Enzo all the way.:deal:lol:

Anyone else notice how gigantic Bellew was in there against Makabu? The size disparity was pretty large. Anyways, I would have to favor Bellew. Makabu just starts way too slow, and apparently, Bellew has massive power at cruiserweight.

As for Drozd, dude is injured, a lot. Hopefully, Drozd really is 100%. I would hate for Bellew to get legitimacy beating Drozd. That would absolutely ruin the entire division.

Bellew had a handle on him the whole match even when he got dropped. Nothing more than a flash off balance ko.

    Bellew by ko second time

It's kinda dumb to bet against a Brit nowadays, certainly at home, but damn it I will keep doing it and fall flat on my face every time until I get one right!

    Kutcher KO7 Maccaroni
    Wlad KO6 Fury

Bellew has a very small head therefore is not affected by head shots very much.

Opponents have to go to his body. Makabu is a head hunter (no racist) and not a body puncher so he will always be at a disadvantage vs Bellew.
