After watching Prescott's loss......I'd have to say Khan. He's made drastic improvement since last September, while Prescott throws those same looping power shots, and looks dog shite when frustated. Furthermore, I can't help but think Prescott is a one trick poney. Load up and throw bombs, load up and throw bombs, load up and throw bombs. If he's missing and things aren't going his way....... he'll rectify by loading up, and yes throwing more bombs.
Khan. I think he has improved sence than. I would like to see him take a big shot to know for sure though.
I honestly don't think Khan can avoid big shots for 12 rounds, he is looking better but he still seems to just stand there after throwing his combo's.
still think he would get caught and not be able to handle those wild shots from prescott he would need to change his defence again as the turtle is not great against bangers unless you have serious power in your counters which he doesnt prescott is just a style khan isnt well suited to, especially with those long arms and the winging shots
I would pick Prescott. Khan is a fine pick in the circumstances. But i'll roll with the KO1 rather than the improvements that are apparent. Prescott rattled the boy with a jab.
I think if Khan can get past the first couple of rounds, he will win it. But if he's mentally incapable of seeing Prescott as just another boxer, but still thinks and worries about getting KTFO again in a couple of rounds by him, he's had it. And he will get KTFO early.
Prescott. Khan beating that guy with a 31% KO rate did not prove a damn thing. Khan will be out of Boxing by the end of 2010.
prescott is limited enough to where khan could avoid him and earn a UD. imo, prescott is the only puncher khan will have to face (if he gives him the rematch, which he most likely will not) that he can beat. torres, maidana, ortiz, witter (maybe) and even holt and bradley would knock out khan.
