I thought Lockridge did great against Chavez. I thought Rocky was on the downside of his career at that time, but he showed he had something left.

Have you actually seen Floyd at JL? He was a much better fighter than Taylor could ever hope to be.

Is he anything like him stylistically? Would he make the same choices in a fight with Chavez?

No and no would be my hunch.

His performance was just like any other of his performances. Very good. One thing about Julio is he was consistently very good.

Mayweather at 130 (or any weight) was greater than Roy Jones, Hopkins and Toney hands down (P4P), best fighter of the last 2 decades

Who could give him the best fight at 130? Armstrong, Chavez, Pep, Leonard.Arguello couldn't beat Mayweather but could make it close over 15 rounds

Floyd's ring generalship would always allow him to beat Chavez. He's just too quick and too smart.

Didn't he have an injury and fight smarter than usual? Not that he was ever a Brawler like some think.

Floyd's intelligence and ringgeneralship are vastly overrated IMO.

Chavez beats him at 130 all day every day, perfect style + ability combination, Arguello has a good chance of stopping him in a 15 rounder, fmj might see out a 12 rounder but we wouldn`t see no rematch, that`s for sure.
