The last time I checked PED's didn't make you grow taller. Also most current fighters aren't juicing. There is no proof that any guy in the 70's were on the juice. They were still between 6'3 to 6'6 and between 215 and 240 without cheating. Marciano could only beat these guys in the mind of racist white dudes like you. Who ever he loses to they'll no they ve been in a fight. Marciano was a crazy guy in the ring , it's almost as if he would soak up the punches and it would spur him on. I see a lot of holy field in him. The will to win and over come the odds. Not many heavy s with disadvantage s like rock had could take that pain and keep coming back. If he did lose it would probably be some one like the younger ali, a guy that can keep moving but would have to take his lumps.

 

Look, before PEDs the vast majority of heavyweight boxers fell within the Curent US army height to age to weight requirements. There never was a dominant Heavyweight champion from history who did not meet these requirements before PEDs. After PEDs the vast majority did not fall within US Army requirements. The best fighters now would fail entry.

You are correct. PEDs don't make you taller. But back when taller fighters met the current requirement to get into the military these tall guys NEVER made the grade as dominant boxers. NEVER.

I don't buy that they started to make the grade without PEDs. I don't buy that athletic big guys came more numerous on their own. Some folks do. But I don't. America produced the tallest people for decades. Giants were always around in America. Before PEDs trainers did not scout he biggest giants. after PEDs they did scout for giants. Why was that?

The punches that hurt are the ones you don't see coming. Marciano was never hurt or knocked down by a punch he saw coming. Walcott was the king of throwing punches a fighter didn't see coming and he hit Marciano with a large number of them. Couldn't knock Marciano out.
