Shane had a close fight with a prime Cotto at 147 not a Cotto that was butchered by Margarito and went life and death with Clottey, and did not fight him at 145.

Shane and Pac are about the same if you ask me. Pac has the speed, angles and southpaw advantages going for him, but he's giving up a 5 inch reach advantage to Floyd whereas Mosley has a 2 inch reach advantage over Floyd. If Pac had a better reach I'd say Pac, but I seriously think he'll have problems getting to Floyd when Floyd wants to fight going backwards, given the reach advantage and how defensively skilled he is.

I believe MOsely has a better chance against Floyd because of his size and strength. I think he can get in there & rough floyd up, make him uncomfortable. Pac will give floyd trouble because of his speed, but I think floyd will be more comfortable just pot shoting him.

But who are we kidding? I would be highly surprised if Floyd ever fought either of these guys. He will fight someone like Matt Hatton, or JCC jr., or someone like that. He might fight Eric Morales at 147, then say that he's better then pac 'cause he beat Morales, and morales beat pac in their first fight.

    He's such a fruitcake.

Was it reported by anywhere credible that he was in talks to fight JCC jr., or are you just making that up?

I have not looked at the results of the poll nor did I vote, but I already know what the outcome of the poll is. It appears more likely that Floyd is fighting Shane, so Pac will get more votes. As has always been the case with Floyd its the one that he doesnt fight that would have been the tougher fight. Oddly enough if you had made this a public poll I would bet that half the people that voted for Pac said that Shane would beat Floyd when it seemed like Floyd was going to fight Pac.

    Pacman.

With his combination of foot speed, hand speed, explosive power, stamina, aggression, heart and ability to punch from all angles, i'll go with him.

Mosley poses the bigger physical threat but i would put my hope on Pacman more than Mosley.

what we have with PBF are all fantasy match ups, we never can tell unless he grows some balls to fight the top men of his division. fantasy match up usually are for boxers of different generations, but with Floyd its fantasy match ups againts men of his generation. :-(

pac's just more versatile. he showed he has what is takes to take a WW's power in the cotto fight, displayed good defense which gets overlooked because of his great offense, and is a great counterpuncher, which is also being greatly overlooked. if anyone watches his last couple of knockdowns of cotto and hatton you should notice they were all pacquiao counter punches. maybe pac has what it takes to beat floyd at his own game. at WW pac is simply just more proven than floyd. beating baldomir and judah are good wins but that simply doesn't cut it. baldomir and judah victories don't equal to a win over Miguel Cotto

That's pretty much how I feel Mayweather / Pac would play out too.
