    All 3 fought at 160 and 175 .
Jones and Toney even fought above 175.

    Jones
    Hopkins
    Toney

Hopkins ranks the highest in any of the original 8 though for me, if that's any consolation.

    Jones
    Hopkins
    Toney

The first two will swap if Hopkins wins his upcoming bout with Pascal.

Hopkins and Jones aren´t really separable IMO. If Hopkins beats Pascal - I don´t think though but everytime I thought he will lose he didn´t so ... - he is ahead. Tony is clearly behind them. Clearly.

    Toney
    Jones
    Hopkins

Although Hopkins and Jones are close and Jones and Toney are close.
But Toney and Hopkins are not close , which made the ordering easy.

Hopkins had title in 2 weight classes , Toney in 3.
Toney fought Sam Peter twice , one must wonder how would Hopkins have fared against him.

Many people do not know , or choose to ignore the reason to why Jones beat Toney the way he did , plus even then it was not close to how decisively Jones beat Reggie Johnson for comparison.

Both Toney-Ruiz and Jones Ruiz were very close fights.

Hopkins , whom never went above 175 actually defended his title mostly at 170 and avoided Chad Dawson.

Hopkins beat Tarver because Tarver was drained.
Hopkins lost twice to Jermain Taylor whom was later exposed as chinny to say the least.

Hopkins is probably the dirtiest fighter of the last 30 years at least , while both Toney and Jones were caught using banned substances , but still many are ignorant enough to believe Hopkins was clear throughout his career just because he was never caught.

Jesus H you're kidding me right?

    Jones
    Hopkins
    Toney

As pretty much everyone has said. 'Nard might have a strong argument be top if he manages to beat Pascal.

'**** Hopkins' best wins are against two prime Welterweights, one a former Lightweight. He was always a huge Middleweight and is at no real size disparity at LHW. And the best thing Soapy has done at LHW, is beat up a LMW, in Winky Wright.

It is ridiculous the love he gets mainstream, because of the Hoya and Trinidad wins. And he only gets love around here because of the 'old school' style, that proves excessive clinching = masterful skill.

You cannot call Mayweather up on cherry picking if you dont call **** Hopkins

i honestly don't think so, but if he gets another big win over somebody else after Pascal, then i think he makes a very strong case.

By the way Hopkins is going to whoop Pascal in December, bet on it, trust me. Pascal doesn't stand a chance. Even though Hopkins will amost be 46 Pascal is nothing special, Hopkins will handle him with ease.
