Greenburg has no reason to lie. While Ellerbe... has many reasons to lie, but it's only one and he gets it every night, just to be reminded.

Negotiations occur between promoters and managers. Greenburg was a network head. Greenburg and Arum talking to eachother is not the same as an actual negotiation. Everyone on Mayweather's side says there were no negotiations, and Arum says he only talked to Greenburg.

 

he said it about 2 months ago on fight hype we have been through this. Since Manny never agreed a fight could have never been close. I mean negotiations start and end there.
