this is nit-picking if u ask me. the truth is manny still hasnt agreed to the testing procedures. he still is not comfortable with 14 days. fight will probably not happen until this is resolved

I don't give a **** about Mayweather, Ellerbe, or anyone associated with these people. However, your ******ed ass makes 11,000-plus posts on an irrelevant boxing website based on your hate for Mayweather and your love for Pac-e-owwww. Enough is enough. Either say something that means something to boxing or take your ass back to Pacland, you ****ing ******.

Yes, neither side is lying. Ellerbe isn't saying that it didn't happen, he is just saying there wasn't any actual negotiating going on from Floyd's camp POV because the point that wasn't negotiable wasn't agreed upon and I imagined that Manny agreeing to the testing was the first thing they wanted know before any other decisions were made. Floyd had already said way before, no full testing, no fight. And obviously Manny ignored him. So Floyd walked out on TR the same way TR did to them during the first negotiations. It was a pressure tactic to make Manny submit that obviously didn't work because Manny never caved.

GB would still try to hammer out a deal hoping that either Floyd caves or Manny. I really don't think they care which. Bob Arum isn't going to try to convince Manny to go with the testing. Because he's a grumpy old ******* and on top of that he hates Floyd anyway. Greenburg is thinking everything is good, not knowing Floyd has already walked away. So when all things are agreed to the testing comes up last again just like last time. Cutoff was still requested and I'm sure a call was put in to Floyd about everything being agreed to except the testing. He said he isn't caving and Manny already said the same. Hence no fight.

This is just my opinion on the whole situation I gathered from all the facts I've read about it.

so you are actually saying that greenburg wants to make this fight? of course everyone knows that, it's his job. the question is why would he lie when he said that there were really a negotiation? and greenburg was fired not until the middle of the year and it was because of him making some unwise investments like paying bradley, berto and alexander too much money but HBO did not get a good return. the final straw was him bungling the pac-mosley fight to showtime. if anything, it would be arum's hand that dealt greenburg's termination and greenburg could easily get back at him by recanting his statement like what dela hoya did ans say that there were no negotiations.

we know exactly the reason why would ellerbe lie but why would greenburg lie?

Based on the video uploaded yesterday it's clear Manny never agreed to testing, which many have said from day one. Who gives a **** "if Greenburg is lying" because we know for a fact Manny's camp was lying again, I assume you seen the video...if not, you should prior to posting anymore bull****.

Who cares about two greedy, self-involved suits? They're the problem with this sport.

floyd actually said that informally after the mosley fight. negotiations are where they should settle things up. it would be unwise for both sides to start negotiating far-off from when they last ended. regarding the test, it was 14 days cut-off for floyd and 24 days cut-off for pac. so normally, negotiations would start again with that.

but as it is, there was never a mention of terms but only greenburg and delahoya mentioned that the negotiations are close to being made.

I just explained that. Why you think Greenburg is so saintly is beyond me. He has the same agenda as everyone else involved....to make money and not lose his shirt in the process. He was not an unbiased party in all this, he worked for the network, and stood to benefit greatly if this fight were made, and carried by HBO.

greenburg might be saintly or not but do you honestly think greenburg is actually faking all the negotiations he did just to preserve his job? this is a wild conspiracy just to malign greenburg's reputaion and uplift that of ellerbe.
