I know we thought we would see im fight the winner of the Bendo vs Meldedes fight, but who would you rather see him fight? Bendo, and Jose Aldo? I personally would rather see him fight Aldo and I think he wins against aldo. What do yall think?
Below is where he told Dana he wanted to move down and fight Jose

Jose Aldo didn’t even get a chance to shine his belt on Saturday night before a former lightweight champion challenged him for the next crack at the title.
Just a week after his stunning knockout over Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone at UFC on Fox 6, Anthony Pettis texted UFC President Dana White asking to face Aldo at 145lbs.
White announced at the UFC 156 post fight press conference that the former WEC champion didn’t waste any time to make his intentions known.
“Anthony Pettis said “I want to move to 145 and fight Jose Aldo”,” White revealed. “He just texted me 10 minutes ago. He’ll meet him at 145, so we’ll see what happens.”
Pettis is currently in line for a shot at the lightweight title following the next bout between champion Benson Henderson and former Strikeforce king Gilbert Melendez, but with their fight not taking place until April, it appears “Showtime” is itching for a title fight.
In the past, Pettis has hinted at a possible move to featherweight, and now it looks he’s throwing down the gauntlet and issuing the challenge to Jose Aldo.
While other featherweight contenders like Ricardo Lamas and “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung are both right in line for potential title shots, the chance to get a competitor like Anthony Pettis into a bout with Jose Aldo would be hard to deny.
For his part, Aldo seemed to like the idea of facing Pettis in the future.
“It’s up to Dana, but I mean that is an interesting fight,” said Aldo. “I train to fight the best, I respect them all, I think to fight Pettis, he’s almost to a title shot in his own division, but it would be an interesting fight.”
Now it’s up to the UFC to decide if Aldo vs. Pettis is the fight to make next.

Pettis will definitely be a strong challenge, but Aldo should fight the Korean zombie, Pettis is definitely a problem though.

Aldo VS Pettis - I predict a TKO either way! Aldo by knee or Pettis by a god-damn cartwheel.

I think Aldo-Pettis is probably the more appealing fight I know Bendo-Pettis II is a rematch everyone would like to see (providing he gets past Gil) but Aldo-Pettis could be something very special.

    Pettis should fight Bendo.

Also will **** him if that fight happens.

He won't be faster than Aldo, nor will Aldo be a stationary target to kick.

I think he should carry on at LW until he has made his title run.

Aldo v Pettis can be made sooner, but I don't want to see him get a Title Fight at FW for no good reason. For one, he's not a FW and two, he could be wasting everyone's time in not performing like he's expected too. I just don't believe he can cut that extra 10 pounds and perform like we know him too... Let them fight, let it be a non Title Fight, but don't **** over anymore FW Contenders in the process.

Hendo v Pettis II all day, same scenario as the last time as Anthony Pettis will be the challenger again.

Why? When Anthony Pettis says he will fight at FW less than 10 minutes after the final bell?? Even if he didn't, the fight would lose a lot of substance.... For the same reasons they want Cyborg to fight at 135..... The UFC has got to sell the fight, and something has to be on the line in order to do so.

Pettis should stick to LW imo at least until he get his shot at the title if he becomes the champ and still wants to try his luck at 145 why not make a champ vs champ super fight?
