Who would you rather see Fury fight next between Wilder III and Whyte?

    Now, I know the answer is Joshua, but it isn't going to happen next, and war gaming everything out, I don't see it happening for a couple of years if at all.

    All parties involved say Wilder III has to happen. I think, as I have derived in another thread, that when they look at fan reaction and see how minimally few people are going to buy, they will be forced to cancel and move on, probably to Whyte. This game is ultimately about money, and TO ME, there is not going to be any money in Wilder after how awfully he did in the last fight.

    But hey, prove me wrong. As a fan, which fight would you rather see?

    They wont cancel

    Its PBC's only short term route back in to the Belt scenario

    Pity as the fight has little interest now
    But they will take whatever hit they have to in order to get back in the game

    Fury and Joshua will definitely fight. They can't not fight.
    As for the thread question, I've never been overly impressed with Whyte and Wilder is still arrogant enough to warrant another beat down.

    They can not fight because Usyk can demand his mandatory. If there is a legal battle over it, it will be drawn out, and Usyk will win the legal battle. Then Joshua has to beat Usyk, who is not a gimme.

    I honestly think Fury-Joshua but the end of NEXT year, or, Fury-Usyk.

    Usyk will not take step-aside, so the alternative is probably for Joshua to vacate a belt if he wants it that bad.

    But hey, which fight would you rather see, Whyte or Wilder?

    Thanks.

    I think Fury would win myself, but it would at least be a decent fight. Whyte would land at least a meaningful punch or two.

    If Whyte roughs him up he actually has a chance to win
    But Fury would be silly to fight that kind of fight
    At least consistently

    I see nothing written that says that it does. If Usyk is the mandatory, and he sues, I believe he would win.

    WBO rules:

    (b) The World Championship Committee shall have the following powers and discretion:
    (5) To approve the terms and conditions under which a Champion may extend
    the time for a Mandatory challenge so as to compete in a Unification Bout or a
    Unification Tournament;

    SECTION 7. UNIFICATION BOUTS AND UNIFICATION
    TOURNAMENTS AS MANDATORY TITLE BOUTS
    (a) The World Championship Committee has the power and authority to sanction a
    Unification Bout or participation in a unification tournament as a Mandatory Title Bout. A

    Unification Bout is a championship bout with the champion of another world sanctioning
    organization recognized by the WBO, including the WBA, the WBC and the IBF.

    (b) When a Champion has been granted an extension of his Mandatory Obligation to
    participate in a Unification Bout or a Unification Tournament, his next mandatory
    obligation must be completed within 9 months of completion of the Unification Bout or
    Unification Tournament.

    Basically, if Joshua and Fury want to fight there's nothing stopping them

    I just rewatched Fury vs Wider 2, and call me crazy but I think Wilder can win in the re-rematch.
    The first 2 rounds were pretty even. It was just when Fury started to bully and rough him up that it all went to **** for him.
    he got tired and demoralized, he was not prepared for it at all.
    if he can just relax and not get all tense, which used up all his energy, and can figure out a way to time & catch Fury on the way in he has a chance.
    Im not saying he will win, im just saying he could win.
    Fury is by far the more skilled but in heavyweight boxing often the least skilled can win.

    Anything close to the version of Whyte we saw last time out, forget it.
