    Fury/Whyte

but Wilder being beaten with no other way to get another belt shot other than by fighting top rated opposition is a good consolation prize.

Fury/Wilder 4 for the WBC belt after a Wilder win would be really bad for the HW division.

Whyte is a guy who hasn't legit beaten any prime proven top fighter. He's famous for landing a hook on AJ, then losing most rounds to an old Chisora before landing a KO. He's also famous for a fake victory over Parker. It's been demonstrated Parker was KD'd by a butt which means Whyte didn't technically win that fight, it should have been a split draw on the cards.

So if you take his fake Parker win away, who has he actually beaten? Do people actually think he'd be considered this worthy if he wasn't with Hearn and the hype machine that goes with it, if he wasn't a commercial draw with the idiot fans of London?

Hearn spreads this myth that Whyte continues to take huge risks while waiting for his shot. He absolutely ducked Pulev while Hughie went to Bulgaria. Whyte fought a forty year old Wach last time out. Now he's fighting Povektin only because it's possibly Povetkin's last fight, think about that.

The longer Whyte is denied a shot at the WBC the funnier it is.

The irony being that your could change "Whyte" to "Wilder" in this sentence, and it would ring even truer.

    But thanks for the answer.
