And being on TMT usually always means PED use comes with that china chin. :-(

Okay Jesse Ventura. Conspiracy theorists have no place in boxing, because they clearly DKSAB! Floyd beat Manny, deal with it!

Floyd beat Manny (and everyone else he fought) like Guillermo Jones beat Lebedev. With the aid of the PEDs. :nod

Floyd'll probably get it for the obvious magnitude of the Pacquiao win.

But I really think Badou Jack deserves it this year. You should need more than one impressive win to garner fighter of the year, and he beat two top ten guys in Dirrel and Groves. Plus, the underdog story pulls at your heart strings, coming back with two upset wins after being knocked out and written off as a hype-job. :angel

Gonzalez deserves consideration, but while Sosa was a skilled, experienced opponent he wasn't quite the threat he would've been a few years ago. He had a more fighter of the year worthy year last year beating Yaegashi.

If you bash Jack for his chin we all know Bute's is as fragile, so Degale shouldn't get so much credit if he beats him. As the underdog Jack overcame greater obstacles with his two wins.

Obviously that Jack can be considered shows how **** the year's been though.

Do you think Jack and Mayweather deserve it though? Being they are PED cheats and juice for their fights? :think

It is quite clearly Roman Gonzalez. Two fantastic wins over top opposition and another keep busy KO win. As well as that he's broken into the American fight scene as well as establishing himself as P4P #1. If there is any justice left in Boxing, he'll get it.

He definitely deserves a mention if he beats Bute. Beating Dirrell over in his country and then doing the same to Bute in his in back-to-back world title fights would be very impressive. He stopped Periban last November too, the only time Periban has ever been stopped (and with ease too) so that would be three impressive results in a 12 month period, or ever so slightly over that.

Brandon Gonzalez was a good fighter too and DeGale ended him easily.

It's no wonder Ward is shamelessly ducking James DeGale MBE
