Liston might be a good pick.

If I can pick Tony Tucker with both hands in tact then it is him.
If I had any family to care about I would have taken klompton's advice.

Liston or Foreman for me. You have to get Tyson's respect early and both could.

    Some good (and funny) answers.
You're only supposed to have ONE choice though...
    And give reasons behind it.

Lennox Lewis. If not him, George Foreman.

I'd feel pretty good about it, too. What would I stand to win?

Interesting that Foreman comes up often.
Does his lack of head movement make him a target for a fast Tyson ?

George Foreman - the man was a killer in his pomp, he had deceptively fast hands and those short devastating uppercuts would take Tyson apart in short order IMO.

I thinks it's because of the size advantage and foreman's huge power , could Tyson get set against foreman or would foreman simply paw push him back keeping Tyson off balance and then blitz Tyson with heavy bombs . Foreman's style could well be a nightmare for Tyson

I'd be confident a prime George Foreman would take care of it.

As many have said, I'd send Foreman and he would have to be patient and let the fight go on in order to frustrate Tyson. My biggest concern would be if Mike get underneath and finds the angles to unload left hooks and rips. Or if he starts finding his way in coming under with the jab.

    Against whom? Critical missing piece.

    Styles make fights after all.

The above list would be my choices for consideration with the exception of Ike who wasn't around long enough to gain my confidence.
